Border Symmetery: 1st Annual Halloween Shoot.

Various FX Makeup Designs and Applications for a photography group that works between Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The owl design was the model's favourite animal, a design was created by working directly with the model, Ruby Elliot. The beak was created specifically per the designs with latex and Graftobian Makeup. Photography by: Kelsey Perreault Photography.

Independent Film project.

Within the film, there's a murderer on the loose and the viewer is lead by and through the eyes of a single detective. Each murder gets more and more gruesome.

For the Knife and Burn Victim, the Director was seeking a look that simulated the gruesome aftermath of the victim still slightly alive, but having been given a series of quick cuts to the face and neck, and then lit on fire.

Independent Film project.

The Director was seeking two full face applications that would allow for the main protagonists of the film to convert from a human form into an animorphic mix.

Full face latex pieces were used to complete the transformation.

For the second full face fx makeup application, the Director was seeking a look that would convey that the characters had just been in a head-on car crash. Where both characters had been completely thrown from the vehicle.

Next the Director wanted moldy bread to be part of the main character's apartment setting. He didn't want to have to wait for any actual bread to become moldy, so after a little playing around with a batch of colours and liquid latex, moldy bread was created.

The final image is of my wonderful FX Makeup Minions for the film and the Extras that were in the DMV Scene.

Training Video.

Baldwin EMS was seeking fx makeup to simulate victims of a car crash, in the past they had used bandages to simulate areas that had been injured in a training scenario.

The Victims were locked away from the rest of the staff while the applications were being done, so that when the first responders showed up, it was the first time that they were seeing the victims for their training.
