Flippy - Full Character Modeling
The Dragon Flippy was modeled from a single 2d sketch that was found in a Terry Pratchet art book. The original design is that of a swamp dragon from the Discworld series written by Terry Pratchet.
For the Design of Flippy, the side drawning was rotoscoped/traced, and then the rest of the body modeling through to the textures and materials were done by hand in a 3D modeling program.
Animation tests of Flippy can be found on the youtube channel.
3D Logo - Cardinal Glass
The client was seeking a 3D representation of their print logo.
The print logo was a visually good design, but not as stunning as they initally wanted it to be represented. Within 3D space, I added an element of a glass material, with a partial highlight which moves in the full animation of their logo. The client was particualarly happy and blown-away with the design of their logo in 3d space.
3D Logo and Character Overlays with Live Action - Chippewa Valley Siding, Roofing Supply Co.
The client was seeking a 3D representation of their print logo.
Initally the character on their logo was a blockhead, however the client wanted to add a more human-perspective to the animation of the logo.
The Animation of the logo included an couple of Character overlay effects with Live Action in their commercials, where the character would jump out of the logo and then show up through-out the commercials doing various bits of work along with the client's work crews.
Architecture and Realism Project
I was playing around with a concept that a friend had of an animation project, but didn't know where to begin with the creation of the objects. The idea was to create a series of mechanical devices that are mostly Science-Fiction, but could be real.
These are the resulting images from the animation.
Part of the animation may be found on the youtube channel.
